BioPerversely, for someone running a site called 'Scared of Sunlight', I love the sunshine and am happiest in high summer, lounging on the grass with a pint in my hand. When I'm not lazing around, I'm an archivist and my office's resident weirdo. I like loud obnoxious rock music with too much makeup on, I wear extremely large boots as often as I can get away with it, and I'm rarely seen in colours other than black and purple.

__undertherose_ which is currently taking up all my spare time and some of my not-spare time as well. I have been known to write fanfiction and used to dabble in various fandoms, mostly Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, X-Men (both comic and Evolution) and King Arthur, although I am no longer active in fandom and am also no longer reading fanfiction (the original stuff is taking up too much of my time and attention). I'm a shameless slasher with an occasional tendency to write het and gen; I write almost entirely in the first person and present tense, and I'm the Queen of the Convoluted Sentence.
Some of my original fiction and most of my fanfiction can be found at my website, Scared of Sunlight. The aforementioned series is inching ever closer to completion, and we'll be shopping for agents and publishers at some point this year. Watch this space.
Want to friend me? Just drop me a comment to say hi and I'll friend you right back; I don't friend people who don't introduce themselves because frankly I find it a bit weird to think of people who don't know me wanting to watch my journal. New friends are, however, always welcome - just come and say hello.

I do have many icons created by far more talented people than me, so check my icon page to see who actually created the icon you like. Any icons not made by me are credited to their creators in the keywords, and you'll have to contact them about using them; all icons with no creator's name in the keywords were made by me so if it's one of those you like, just ask - the answer is likely to be yes, but I like to know that people like my stuff enough to want to use it, as I'm by no means a natural with graphics programs!
